DT studio error “the specified work-space cannot be created”

Hi,
I have got error when I try to open Informatica DT. The error description “the specified workspace cannot be created”.
Any idea here?

This error appears sometimes in DT studio. To resolve it, you need to create a brand new DT workspace.

Steps :

  1. Open the file called CMConfig.xml. Towards the end of this file it can be seen that the workspace directory is configured. Example C:\Users\xadmin\My Documents\Informatica\DataTransformation\910\workspace
  2. Change the Workspace directory to some folder where the Windows user has read/write access and save the CMConfig.xml file with the changes.
  3. Relaunch the B2B Data Transformation studio.
  4. Sometimes need to delete all folder in service DB folder. – import the old DT projects to your new workspace.
